Summary
While working with Jacobs Engineering as the design lead in collaboration with the Division of Natural Resources and UDOT, Meridian provided UAV flights, survey base mapping and right-of-way design to expand the marina parking at Bear Lake and relocate the entrance to the Marina. This project improves the safety of this intersection by increasing vehicle queue off US-89 to dual lanes as well as provide turn lanes into Harbor Village. Vehicles now enter the marina at the new signalized intersection at US-89 and Raspberry Patch Road and exit at the north marina access. This new access road helps to resolve the traffic issues that were common in this area due to the increased visitation at the lake during the summer months.
