Sweetwater Fire Station #251,
Summary
Sweetwater Fire station is located at 3726 Pony Express Parkway in Eagle Mountain. The project encompasses a 12,300 square foot, two-story facility for housing the Unified Fire Service Authority’s local fire fighters and battalion chiefs in contemporary living quarters complete with dining space, interior courtyard, exercise room, kitchen and dayroom.
In collaborations with ajc architects as the lead, Meridian provided the topographic survey and civil site design extending new utility lines to support the new building and site. Additionally, our scope of work involved grading and drainage plans for passenger vehicle parking, fire truck parking as well as ensuring smooth egress from the two-apparatus bay to the existing roadway, plans for walkways, and hydrologic and hydraulic design for storm water management. Construction period services were performed while working closely with Hogan Construction to oversee the project’s successful completion.
