Summary

Located at 1080 E 12660 S Draper Elementary serves a community of over 686 students with a mission to foster academic growth in the community.

This project started with a Survey of controlling monuments for a boundary survey, established flight targets for UAS flight of the school site, developed full base mapping including the use of terrestrial LiDAR. Roadway geometries, break lines, and point features were extracted using Topo DOT from the LiDAR point cloud to create a complete surface model. Final deliverables included aerial images, base mapping files, LiDAR based webshare, and surface models in DTM format for final Civil Design.

The Civil design by Meridian included phased plans for a new city roadway, site drainage and grading, site hydraulic analysis, and design for several on-site stormwater detention basins. Plans also included Site Layout and Utility Plans. Construction management and stormwater pollution prevention plans were included.
