Exciting progress is being made on the new Eagle Mountain Middle School, located on Belle Street. This Alpine School District project is set to serve grades 7 through 9, catering to the rapidly growing community in Utah. Our team at Meridian Engineering is proud to contribute to several key aspects of the civil design, including site development, utility installation, and traffic flow improvements.
Because of its rural fringe location, the project included design for the widening of the east side of Belle Street (9000 N.) along the school site frontage as well as the new Harmony Way access road. New improvement of curb, gutter and sidewalks for right of way for the roadway widening was coordinated with Alpine School District and the City.
Meridian Engineering worked in collaboration with the VCBO Architecture design team to provide topographic surveying, boundary analysis, subdivision plating, site grading and drainage plans for parking lots, bus and parent drop zones, site walkways, softball field, pickleball courts, track, soccer field and other playfields. In addition, Meridian provided 3 miles of site utility design for all new sewer and water lines offsite. Retention basins for stormwater and storm drain connections were also included. We’re thrilled to see this complex project come to life and look forward to its completion by 2025, under the skilled construction of Westland Construction.
