Meridian Engineering was founded in 1997 by three visionaries, Darryl Fenn, Randall Vickers, and Steve Johnson, who brought their collective expertise from a Utah-based civil engineering firm to create something new and enduring. The name “Meridian” was chosen deliberately, symbolizing a starting point, the basis of design, a high point.
Over the years, through both challenging and prosperous times, Meridian’s chemistry and synergy steadily grew the company to become a trusted partner for survey, planning, and engineering projects. Meridian makes it a priority to find ways to give back to the Utah community. From donating annually to the Tee it Up Golf Foundation sponsorship for cancer research at Huntsman Cancer Institute, to yearly food drives for local school districts, and participating with the Fullmer Legacy Center by providing reduced design fees for the new permanent boxing gym free for youth that come across the valley. We seek many ways to build and contribute to our community.
